    why can’t i play mincraft with my friend on pocket edition?


    we are both using minecraft pocket edition on ipad and are trying to play together online, but when either of us try to invite each other to a world the invitation dosent go through. we have tried logging out and logging in, restarting on devices updating mincraft so we’re on the same update but nothing has worked. the problem seems to stem from the fact that even when i am on mincraft it is saying to my friend that i’m offline. what’s a fix for this?
