Why can’t I play forza horizon 4 online with game pass ultimate

I'm not sure what you mean. If you have Game Pass, you'll be able to access the standard edition of Forza Horizon 5 (not the disc). You'll need Gold or Game Pass Ultimate to play online. If you have the disc, you would need Gold or Game Pass Ultimate to play online.

Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition is not included in Game Pass Ultimate. Only the standard edition of the game is included. If you want to play the add-ons as well, then you will have to purchase them.

The specific settings you need to enable to be able to access online multiplayer/matchmaking:

‘You can join multiplayer games’ - set to Allow.

‘Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites’ - set to Everyone (or just friends if you prefer).

‘You can see and upload community creations’ - set to Everyone. This enables access to the Auction House and the ability to send and receive gifts from other players.

Remember to select submit to confirm and save the settings. Also keep in mind that if an adult adjusts your settings, you need to sign out and then back in again for any changes to properly take effect.
