Why can't I play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on my Xbox Series S?

I have an Xbox series S, works perfectly. I bought Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora because its compatable with the series s console, it didn't tell me it wasn't playable on the console until I already sepnt almost 40 dollars on the game itself. How do I make it playable without spending another 40 dollars or give me a full refund back. I want to play this game but if it's not going to let me then I want my money back.

If it doesn't look like the picture above, then it's not a Series S. You most likely have a One S (you can also verify on the back of the console). That game was not released for the One so it won't work on that console. No it's longer and white, with no black circle on it. It's still a series s Xbox and when I looked up compatible consoles for this game it said the series s.

no it's not an Xbox series S it's an Xbox one S

If you look at the back you'll find a label that will tell you this

The game will not work on Xbox one and you'll have to request a refund through https://account.xbox.com
