    Both of you should have the option "Krossplay" enabled, you can toggle this by going to the Online menu in-game and highlighting Kasual modes at the top-right of the screen, there should be an option to toggle "Krossplay" on or off.

    Once that is done, both of you should use the feature in the Kasual Versus game mode. You can also use the Krossplay Online rooms.
