    Happy with my XBox 360 and heavily invested in my collection of favorite XBox 360 games. I have no use for a Microsoft game console that can't play my games. It's like someone trying to sell me a new DVD player that can't play my existing DVDs.

    Hello Kevin,

    It is not about "patching the system". Xbox 360 simply isn't capable of giving output in 4K, because of its
    outdated components. Xbox One for example, has a built in 4K player and you can also benefit from HDR in compatible gaming. Consider upgrading your console if you wish to enjoy the 4K resolution.

    Hi,

    Several reasons.

    1. The 360 has a DVD drive. Full HD discs use Blu-ray disc tecnology. 4K Ultra HD use UHD Blu-ray discs. The 360 can not read Blu-ray discs.

    2. The internal 360 hardware is simply not fast enough to decode 4K video content, and the graphics hardware can not output to 4K anyway.

    No software in the world can update old hardware.

    There is no such way because they console is not capable of reading 4K media nor outputting in 4K through digital.

    the 360 barely reach 1080p let alone 4k lol, it plays dvd fine, but the drive is dvd only.
