    When I was scrolling through xbox app , I found an option called 'SURPRISE ME' . When I clicked on that it showed Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy , INSTALL . Normally if someone have to download a paid game ,they have to own a game pass atm or have to purchase the game with cash. But it said INSTALL , and it also was a SURPRISE ME option ,so I thought it was a surprise and I was really excited to install the game. When I completed installation and tried to open the game , it said 'If your subscription is current, try quitting and relaunching the game'

    Is this happening on Xbox or PC?
    If it’s on Xbox, what console do you have?
    If it’s on PC, are you using windows 10 or 11?

    In any case:
    Is this happening only with this game or if you try opening a different game something similar happens?
    And, what did you tried so far to fix this
    In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (Disc Unrecognized)

    Here is what has been working for me... Power on and log in to live. When it says unrecognized disk just keep opening and closing the tray. After 10 times or so it will say open tray or play cd. Then open the tray and go to my games and click blackops 2.
    it will say insert disc. manually close the tray and let it read. If it fails try again. I have done this every day since release. (i did install to harddrive. it errored the first time then copied the second time)

    I never had to install the game before. Just a 156MB compatibility update. You do have an HDD larger than 20GB right?

    The getting disconnected from Xbox Live is a huge problem that a lot of people are having. Just look at the Bungie forums and you will see. It happens to me every 15 minutes or so.
