Why can't I log in to Xbox Live on my Xbox 360?

I understand that you are experiencing issues signing in to Xbox Live.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please delete and redownload your profile.

On your Xbox 360, go to Settings > System > Storage.

Select the storage device where your profile is saved.

Select Profiles and find your profile.

Select Delete and choose Delete Profile Only (this will keep your saved games and achievements).

Restart your console.

Once done please go to Sign In and select Download Profile. Enter your Microsoft account email and password to redownload your profile.

And then clear system cache. On your Xbox 360, go to Settings > System > Storage.

Highlight any storage device and press the Y button.

Select Clear System Cache and confirm.

Next is check Network Settings. Your Xbox 360 needs to be connected to the internet. To check on this, please go to Settings > System > Network Settings and select your network.

Run the Test Xbox Live Connection to check for any network issues.

Then make sure that your Xbox 360 is updated to the latest system software. Go to Settings > System > Console Settings > System Info and check for updates.

Is there a reason why I can't sign in to my account and Connect t Connect to Xbox live on Xbox 360?

Can't understand why I can't login to live on my xbo, my xbox 360 can!! But I haven't got cod aw for my 360 ffs!!!!! And also why can my freinds sign in on xbo and I cant?) they only live about 2 minutes away from me!!!!!

For about a year I have not been able to log into my account on any of my many 360s...I can log into Xbox One fine, but even when trying to play a 360 game on xbox one, it says that I am unable to log into xbox live on this console...it says try downloading
your gamertag again. I have in fact and last year changed my password like 5 times and still the same problem. There are a few 360 games on my xbox one such as gears 2 or 3 that I would like to play horde with, but I can't log into live on the 360 side to
do this, but I'm on live on the xbox one side.

I would be very grateful for some effective help.

Okay... may have spoken a little too soon. Tried my xbox today, and it still won't auto-sign in to Xbox Live. I don't need to run the connection test anymore, it seems, because it logged me in within 15 seconds of me hitting the "Connect to Xbox Live" option,
but still, my problem remains pretty much the same. My 360 will not auto-connect to Live, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why.
