Why can't I log in on the Xbox Website?

This has been affecting more users since yesterday.

There is no official confirmation yet, but this might be a problem with the web servers.

On the Xbox Status page, it's not mentioned yet: https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

I reported the issue and await a response, I will update this post as soon as I have new information.

For now, what has worked was login in via the Xbox Mobile App or Xbox PC App.

Have you tried to use a different browser or your browser's incognito/privacy mode?

With regards to this problem you are experiencing, I am seeing other fellow members here reporting the same issue. Though I am not sure if it is a known issue already since nothing are posted yet on the Xbox live server page https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

But in the meantime, I suggest to try using a different device or browser. If you have a different internet connection try to connect using it as well then access the page https://account.xbox.com/en-gb/Settings/Home then go to the "Privacy & online safety" settings tab.

You can also try to access this via phone or PC. In addition to that, you can also reach out to the Xbox support directly via https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us to report the problem or see if there is a known issue for this already.

On the page, click on "Contact us" > Subscriptions & billing > I can't redeem a code > Type in "Support" then there you should see option to message or request a callback from the Xbox team. The option I provided here is diferent, this is just a way to easily find the option to reach the Xbox support.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have been using multiple browsers and incognito mode but it still isn't working, even when using a different device I still couldn't get in. The desktop and mobile apps do work for me though.

I was able to successfully log onto the Xbox website on 2 different accounts. Both successes were on my same wifi and computer, so I doubt it's an internet or device issue.

As for the account I'm experiencing the problem on, I have attempted to log in with both different internet and device, but it has the same issue on all.

I'm not sure if this has always been a problem for my account, but I discovered it a few months ago.

To check if the issue is not on the account, try creating a new account and sign in through Xbox website and see if you encounter the same problem. Try also changing connection. If you can connect to mobile hotspot or data or have different internet connection, try connecting your device and sign in to different Xbox website. Let us know if the same problem will occur.
