why cant i link my xbox to my epic account

i have my xbox account but i made my epic account with my xbox live account but when it got hacked they deleted my xbox account of epic so i cant login and epic doesnt care

My son's xbox live account is linked to unnamed epic account.

I have revoked the access of epic games on the microsoft side.

Tried to connect via epic website and have seen that microsoft now indicates newly linked with current presonalized account.

Issue is that in epic i cant get it connected .....indicates " your xbl account has been associated with another epic account"

First, it is important to ask that please refrain from sharing personal information, including email addresses, gamertags, phone numbers, etc.

As community users, we are not able to enter or check your account information, and everything we comment can be seen by anyone on the internet.

That being said, it is critical to point out that it is not possible to unlink an Epic account from your Microsoft account or view which account you have linked, the process always needs to be done in the Epic linked accounts management site.

you cant change xbox accounts linked to epic, epic changed this early last year, once an xbox account is linked to epic then thats it, it can be unlinked but cannot have a different xbox account linked to that epic account, they did this to stop people getting around bans and keeping all their stuff.
