Why can't I join or create any group text chat?

Yes, but the perks dont show as well as my main concern about the group chats.

Thank you so much for letting me know. Let's perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Just to confirm, have you also tried checking the NAT Type on your Xbox console? You may follow the steps below to check this:

1.Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

2.Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

3.Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.

You need your NAT type to be Open to resolve this issue. You also want to be sure there are no errors such as Double NAT detected or UPnP not successful displayed.

You can also configure the following port via your WIFI settings. If you are unsure where to configure this, you may reach out to your Internet Service Provider so you can request to them to enable it. These are the ports for Xbox:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port UDP 4500 (UDP)
