    Why can’t I join external servers on my Nintendo switch?


    So I wanted to join a Minecraft server, that normal stuff, but when I went to servers and scrolled down, I didn’t see external servers! I cannot join any servers outside of the ones pre-loaded, or ones for realms, if anyone can, please help me, I don’t know what to do!

    Is this your first time trying to join a server on your Switch device?

    Please note that it may require Nintendo Switch Online Membership to be able to play online. If you're not yet subscribed, please try to get one for your account.

    Got it. Have you tried to sign out and sign in from the game, reinstall it, or try a different account, or try a different internet connection?

    Make sure as well that you allow your privacy settings about multiplayer and communication through https://account.xbox.com/Settings. Check the Privacy Tab and Xbox/Windows Online Safety tab. Click apply or submit at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
