why cant i join a mindcraft realm

I understand you need help with your Minecraft game problem.

Do you have access to this privacy settings page here and can make changes:

If you do not have access to this, it is due to the account being a child account and settings cannot be changed if the account is not an adult account.

Try checking if you have a family set up on your family page here:

https://account.microsoft.com/family

If you do not have one, you would need to create an adult or use any adult account to add you under family so that they can change your settings for you.

Once you are done adding it to a family from an adult account, you just have to access the adult account and access the privacy settings so it can make changes to your privacy settings.

Are you using a child's account? If you are, please, review these option in the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device.

To download the Family App: https://www.xbox.com/apps/family-settings-app

Click the Child Account Name > Settings (The cog on the top right) > Multiplayer > Allow

Then, on the same window, under Cross-play:

Allow Crossplay

Allow Communication with Friends

On the bottom of the page, Clubs > Allow (For Minecraft Realms).

If that is not the case, the best course of action is to contact Support.

In your error message, does it have an error code as well? Can you tell me which code is it?

Please, first, check your time settings, and set it to automatic.

Press the Windows Key + X > Settings > Time & language > Date & time > Enable "Set Timezone Automatically" and "Set Time Automatically".

Afterward, make sure your Windows is updated:

Then, reset the Microsoft Store:

Press the Windows Key + R

Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Next, close the store and reopen it to check for app updates.

With the Microsoft Store open, click on Library > Get Updates.

After that, please, download the Gaming Services Repair tool: https://aka.ms/GamingRepairTool

Once downloaded, execute the file by right-clicking on it and selecting Run as Administrator.

Follow the prompts and check if the issue was resolved (Press "Y").

Moving on from there, reset your network settings:

Please, follow these steps:

Press Windows Key + X > Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset > Reset Now.

Hi, Rodrigo, i am still struggling with joining into my java realms. i did the steps, followed thuroughly and yet it still says it.
this is what i see:




as you can see there is no error code as i can see, when i quit minecraft there is no error code / crash code, just this.
am i missing something? It seems like either an server side issue like a server timeout or even the the fact that maybe microsoft recognises my account as an child account? which i am pretty sure isn't the problem

another thing is when i go to mojang's site > profile > My realms > realms settings, the realms settiings just don't show up.

Is it a world you're joining or a realm?

The realm should work bit ive fou d a lot of worlds i cant join possibly region specific.
