    Why cant I join a discord call on my xbox one S?


    I have literally done every trick in the book at this point. Ive unlinked and relinked my discord account like 10 times, factory reset my xbox with the games and apps not touched 3 times, reset the router, reset my xbox around 7-10 times and ive tried connecting to a vc first on my phone, then swapping over to my xbox and nada. Im just lost and I really want to know what im doing wrong Why cant I join a discord call on my xbox one S? :(

    nevermind. as a last ditch effort i restarted the router again and it works.

    Whenever I change my microphone or do something that involves speaking, like joining a call/party, my internet disconnects.

    I am wireless and I cant sadly connect to ethernet as well, the routers downstairs and I'm upstairs,
    I cant join Xbox parties or discord calls/voice chats without disconnecting after, around 3-4 minutes.

    And no it does not disconnect me when I am either streaming on twitch, or recording my voice.

    The same problem is happening to me , i have turtlebeach headset for my xbox one and i can only hear my friends thru discord i cant hear the game in the background of my headset , ive done everything i can to fix them but the audio wont come out from my headset just the discord call

    Hi Marvina,

    I have checked for updates, and my Xbox as well as Discord are all up to date.

    I can join Discord calls just fine on my pc and phone, however I still can't on my Xbox.

    It definitely seems to be a problem with the console but I have no way of knowing what it is.
