Why can't I install Overwatch: Origins Edition on my Xbox Series S?

I have the same issue, except I had the digital version of Overwatch Origins Edition on my previous Xbox One. I've played the game for years on the Xbox One, but now I upgraded to a Series S and Overwatch does not show up with my other games in the 'all owned games' section - so I can't download it. The only option is to pay another $60 for legendary edition on the store, just to keep playing the game that I already own and have played for years. Any advice here?

You need the digital copy and no the disc copy doesn't give you access to the digital version

The disc would still be used to validate the install

I apologize but on Xbox Series S we can only install the games that we own digitally, in your case that will not be possible since you have the disc version. You will be needing to purchase the digital version of the game.
