Why can't I install fallout 4 on my computer via gamepass?

Fallout 4 or Fallout 4 GOTY are not Play Anywhere titles. If you want to play it on PC you'll need to purchase the PC version. I wouldn't buy it on the Xbox app though as currently (07/07/23) it's on sale on the Steam store at 75% off.

Also, unlike the Xbox App version, F4 on Steam supports external mods from Nexus mods. The Xbox PC version doesn't.

I installed Fallout G.O.T.Y edition with gamepass but when i go to my addons it says there not installed, im really confused

Fallout G.O.T.Y edition is not included on Xbox Game Pass. Only the standard versions of Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas are currently included with Game Pass.

and please excuse the misunderstanding H4=Forza Horizon 4. Maybe you can also try to connect your computer via RJ45 cable to speedup your network - if you now are connected via wireless. Or to install it via the Store App if you only try to install it via
the Gamepass App.

Alright, I'll give resetting the console a go. I put the fallout disc in my brother's xbox, where it was already installed via gamepass, and it opened the game with no issues, but the disc could still just be corrupted. Thanks
