Why can't I hear my voice when I report in game voice chat?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your audio input. if you're just trying to report a person, your own recording is not a requirement. You may proceed with the report without it.

If you want to hear yourself on your TV, you may go to your Settings and go to Volume and Audio Output. Go to Additional Options. Make sure that your party chat output is on headset and speakers.

After that, press the Xbox button on the controller to open the menu. Select the Audio icon to modify the settings. On the next page, you can find three options: Headset volume, Headset chat mixer, and Mic monitoring. Make sure to set the Mic monitoring to 20-60% according to your preference.

What would putting it on headset and speakers do?

Hello Jesse,I'm actually a player of Microsoft Store Roblox.

When i play on servers that accept voice chat i can't active my microphone or can't hear people but my friends on roblox player can actually do, why can't i use voice chat like them ?

Question, I can hear the game audio, but I cant change the chat volume, yet I can still hear my friends in party's and game chat. The only way I can change how loud there voice is to change the game volume on my X12. I tried going to preferences and voice,
but when I switch to play through headset, I don't hear my friends. Is there anyway I can change my friends voice volume? Because chat volume doesn't work on game chat and party chat.

I have my settings as allowed and for everyone. I can hear others talk in voice chat on the game but they can't hear me
