    Why cant i hear my voice in my xbox clips?


    When i clip my games, you can hear the other people in the game but cant hear me. When i clip overwatch 2 and i talk, it shows at the side on the clip that im talking but you cant hear me but can hear everyone else.

    This is on the xbox series x.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please check audio settings by pressing the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Navigate to Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output. Under Advanced, select Additional options, and then choose Chat mixer. Make sure that your preferred audio setup is selected. You can adjust the chat mixer to prioritize game audio or party chat .

    And for the headset format go to Settings, then General, and then Volume & Audio Output. Check what your Headset Format is set to. If it's Dolby Atmos or Windows Sonic, switch back to Stereo Uncompressed.

    Next is to test your mic in another applications or games to verify that it's capturing your voice.

    Then verify that your privacy settings allow for recording and sharing voice clips because there are privacy restrictions can prevent your voice from being included in clips. To do this, go to Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Game content. Make sure everything is set to allow sharing and recording.

    Unfortunately, clips do not capture audio from voice chat groups, they only capture in-game audio.

    Hi there.

    This is completely normal, although they're are ulterives online to buy extra things to have this enabled. But, by default Microsoft has not programed a way to talk.

    Although, Xbox does have a app auto installed (Xbox one+) that you can voiceover clips. Otherwise this is made by default.
