    Why can't I hear anything when using a wired headset in Minecraft?


    Ok so, whenever I play Minecraft the audio is always muted. This normally doesn't happen whenever I use a wireless setup on my pc. The only way that I have found to be able to fix this issue is by going into game bar and switching my audio output.

    hi, its a TB Recon 150, wired. I have tried a new TB Recon 50P and have the same issue. My son mainly plays Fortnite but we have tried Minecraft too and we can still hear sound through the TV as well as through the headset. He can hear his friends but
    they can't hear him when playing Fortnite.

    Could be the mic as you suggested, Wired mics can break really easily (I've through 3 or 4). Well if they can hear you on the mic then I only assume that the headset could be knackered and that's why you can't hear anybody.

    Xbox One Mic Not Working Troubleshooter     and run through all the steps for "Players Can't Hear You".

    Thank you for reaching out. Could you clarify what happens when you connect the headset? Is it being detected? Are you unable to hear anything? Also, try checking out our
