why can’t i hear anything or anyone on game chat with my headset?

If you’re having audio problems in parties, make sure the Xbox network is up and running. If it is, try these tips:

• Check that your privacy settings allow you to communicate with everyone
  
• Unmute or unblock the person you’re trying to chat with
  
• Check that you’ve joined party chat from within the party window
  
• Check to make sure that you’re not in a Discord voice channel
  
• Check for network latency or other network issues

i have no issues with party just game chat?

   2. If not, please select the country/region it is showing and select the correct one among the list.
      
   3. Make sure to use to check the available contact times of the support.
      
   4. Select the "Contact Us" button
      
   5. Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.
      
   6. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.

I can’t switch the audio to my headset besides game chat in mw2 or anything the system it’s self makes no sound in my headphones besides chat I even paid for a app

I'll stick to my £10 official headset thanks! I will never understand why anyone would pay anymore than that for a headset. As long as you can hear people and they can hear you, why do you need anything else?
