Why Cant I Get My Minecraft Verification Code For Account Transfer From Mojang to Microsoft?

I got minecrat from Microsoft Store. So the account I bought was already a microsoft account. My account has nothing to do with mojang. I can't send verification code because I didn't get it from Mojang. My account is already microsoft account, why do I need verification but? I'm not a Mojang account

Having the exact same issue, and get this, my verification code arrived. Three hours later.

So it was completely useless because the code itself is only valid for 10 minutes, and by the time it arrived, the page had timed out to enter in the code.

I have since requested yet another code, and it has been roughly 4 hours since then. No code. So by the time That code arrives, it too will be invalid and unusable. The fact that this is a problem in the year 2022 is agreeably, mind blowing. Another company I had to deal with support earlier today provided me not one, but Two automated emails within the span of the exact same moment, not but a minute or less after sending the token request for their system to reply.

Still waiting for assistance in the matter as a whole as well.

And yes, Mojang Support was contacted. Over six hours ago.

I ended up getting my codes like 7 hours later and then I tried again in the morning and it worked and I got my codes. Hopefully it works out for you, sorry you aren’t getting any real Microsoft help.

No response or emails from me either and it has been 4 hours since my first code request. It is very frustrating. We will persevere!

One can hope we can, cause I've already had to buy the game a second time when my first account got lost to the sands of time, I'm not paying for it a third time.
