Why can’t I get Minecraft Java even if I have Minecraft bedrock through family sharing?

I apologize, but the Minecraft Java Edition can't be shared. If you would like to play the game you may need to buy the game on your account, sadly.

Why i can share Bedrock, but not Java? this editions of minecraft is in 1 launcher

Sorry to hear about that, however, since you have a different Store account from what you use for gaming, unfortunately, the access for Java isn't shareable. Only the account that has the game (your work email) has access to it. Try to sign in using that account on the Xbox app and the Minecraft launcher to access this version of the game.

Family sharing will work for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition." - Same goes for you, as you have a different Store account.

The Xbox edition of Minecraft in the screenshot is still the Bedrock edition, is it not? I should have access to Java through owning the Bedrock edition, and I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to play it if I played Java in the past with my Microsoft account without having to buy Java.
