Why can't I get a replacement controller?

Beforehand, it is important that you keep in mind that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox.

This problem may be due to the country in which you reside, if currently there are no official Xbox technical centers in your country then this may be the reason.

I just logged a replacement for my day one controller and was told they can replace it with a brand new day one controller. So not sure why you can't get it. Also my issue is with the LB button, feels very loose like I've been pressed 1 billion times. While
it's under warranty, might as well replace it now rather than living with it.

@Lestat573 I purchased my first Xbox 360 in 2006. I got the RROD in 2010. Xbox support replaced my Xbox without even mentioning a warranty. That's why I can't fathom that they could replace a console but refuse to replace a controller.

Can't I just pay for a replacement and get a refund on it once they receive my controller?

As far as I know, the 20th Anniversary Halo controller is just an Elite 2 controller with a wrap on it so you need to look for Elite 2 parts
