Why can't I customize my son's gamer picture. It's saying he is not old enough enough

Just a friendly reminder though that according to Xbox Support: "Note Customised images are only available for adult Microsoft accounts."

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Was the account's birth date changed to make it over 18 years old? All Microsoft accounts that are created will retain the original birth date. If the birth date is changed manually, the account will still
register as a child account. Be sure to let us know the results.

I think it might have is there any way i can make the account to were i can get a custom picture?

My son says he was in the event, but I don't know enough about Fortnite to say one way or the other.
