Why can't I connect to xbox live on any of my backwards compatible games?

I'm currently having the same exact issue. I can't connect any of my backwards compatible games to Xbox Live on my Xbox One. I've restarted twice and checked my internet. Neither of these are the issues. My NAT is open and evrything else is fine. I can't
connect to Xbox Live on backwards compatible games at all!

I can't download my profile, because this error code is preventing me from being connected to Xbox Live. You need to be connected to Xbox live to download a profile. Any other solutions? Not being able to play a majority of my games, because they're backwards
compatible is very frustrating!

It's not a platinum edition & PAL region,which I assume you live in & it is a backwards compatible game.

You do need a software update but chances are you should already have it if you are connected to live.

Sorry but can't think of any other reason why it won't play.

Same problem. Only way I know to fix is to connect your xbox to a hotspot from your phone. That got it to work for me. Once back on my main internet, doesn't work again.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your backwards compatible games. Please follow the steps below to try to fix the issue;

Please start up any Xbox 360 game on your Xbox and open the guide with START + SELECT and then go to the bottom and select storage and then to profiles and delete your profile. Then re-download it on the guide again. Also, it may be needed to erase the Xbox 360 cache on your Xbox:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Storage, and then select "Clear local Xbox 360 storage."

5. Select Yes. Your console will restart. (This will not affect your cloud-saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.).

Once done, try to play an Xbox 360 game again on your Xbox one, it should work.

If it still doesn't work, please try to refresh your operating system and delete all potentially corrupted data that restricts you from using your console normally without deleting your games or apps.​​​​​​​

Note: Make sure that you know your account logins before doing this step. Also, this will remove all your Home Xbox associations.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

3. On the Reset your console? screen, you'll select Reset and keep my games & apps.
