Why can't I connect to forza horizon life?

It seems to be a server issue. Reinstalling the game should clear that up

this happened today but my friend had this problem for almost 1 month now

We understand that you are experiencing issues with getting online in Forza Horizon 4. Is this the only game that you are experiencing issues with? Have you tried going with a hard wired connection instead of WIFI to see if the issue persists after strengthening your connection?

Meanwhile, let us try a couple of troubleshooting steps and see if that helps. Please give it a try and make sure to let us know the results!

Solution 1: Reset or restart your router

To restart your wireless router, you can plug it out and plug it back in again, or press the off button, and press it again to turn it on. It all depends on the type wireless router you have at home.

Solution 2: Reinstall or repair your XBOX App

1. Navigate to Settings app > Apps > Apps & features.
   
2. Locate XBOX APP entry and click on it to reveal Advanced options link. Click Advanced options link.
   
3. In the Reset section, click the Reset button.
   

Solution 3: If this does not help try to change your DNS-Server:

1. Open Settings.
   
2. Click on Network & Internet.
   
3. Click on Ethernet (or Wi-Fi depending on your connection).
   
4. Select the network connection.
   
5. Under the "IP settings" section, click the Edit button.
   
6. Use the "Edit IP settings" drop-down menu and select the Manual option.
   
7. Turn on the IPv4 toggle switch.
   
8. Type your "Preferred DNS" and "Alternate DNS" addresses.
   
9. Click the Save button.
   
10. Restart your Computer.
    

Once you complete the steps, the new DNS settings will take effect, and you should now be able to connect to the internet using the new resolvers.
