    It seems that Microsoft has some prohibitions with some letters, but I did not find specific information regarding this problem. But yes, apparently they don't allow the X to be placed.

    I got a Random Name and had no possibility to select another one

    That is the only reason why you get a free name change

    On xboxes you choose your name unless you create it on the website which would give you a random name that's why you are given 1 free name change

    Xbox accounts who choose their name do not get that option

    Plus you are only given 30 days
