Why cant i change my gamertag?

Hello Leo, Live's servers are currently in game maintenance, it shouldn't affect the exchange of Gamertags, try to switch to another browser or another network, and if you continue with the same error, wait until xbox servers return to normal.

But then i lose my free gamertag change. And have to pay 10€ for only one required change.

Why cant just an employee resets my gamertag to something random like the frist time you register.

Then i just change my name to "Contexys"
