    Why can't I change my child's privacy settings on Xbox?


    I've been trying to change my child's Xbox permissions and restrictions to allow her to play multiplayer, but it keeps telling me to verify my age. When I click the verification link, it sends me to a Korean website where I have to choose a Korean phone service company, but because I am currently not in Korea and using a Korean number, I cannot get into Xbox. How do I change the permissions if I cannot get into Xbox?

    I cannot get into my own Xbox account - it tells me I have to verify my age and then leads me to a Korean website. (Sorry - I meant the Xbox website, not the console.)

    the exception already states that it is not possible to grant authorization without this account:

    "Note To grant the "always" exception, you must have an Xbox account on the console. If your account is not on the console, you can only provide a temporary exception ("just this once") for the current session."

    As a player I can only tell you how to proceed, in this case, I advise you to talk to support in the online chat option, instead of talking to the community.

    I have the same problem but when I go to change my privacy settings, it redirects me to a page titled 'why I can't change my privacy settings?' and the reasons it gives for why I can't do not apply to me because I am 18+, I'm not a child account, and I am the only account in my 'family'. plz help all I want to do is play Minecraft and Halo online with other people. Btw I do not own an Xbox I am playing these on PC.
