    I have an external hard drive that hardly has anything in it and my Xbox always detects my external hard drive when I boot-up. Why is it now every time I want to download a game I have to free-up space in my internal hard drive? Why can't I download to my
    external hard drive anymore? I'm fed-up with this. I paid a lot of money for an external hard drive and I have to keep on uninstalling games from my internal hard drive to download new games. Then when I want to play the other ones again and I to uninstall
    something else and spend ages install the other game again. My external hard drive has only used about 30GB's and it's a 1TB hard drive. I just bought GTA V and I had to uninstall two games from my internal hard drive. It should have downloaded to my external
    hard drive. How do I fix this? Thanks.

    Question about downloading updates to an external hard drive for a game on your INTERNAL hard drive.

    Okay, this is kind of hard to explain. I bought a 5TV external hard drive a few months ago. Hooked it up and it worked fine. My internal hard drive is 99.8% full. When a game that the main game is installed on my internal hard drive needs an update, it never
    downloads on the external hard drive. I always have to clean up room and move a game to my external hard drive. Mostly with Destiny because fit has huge patches and updates. Why if there isn't room on the internal hard drive doesn't it just automatically install
    the update on the external hard drive? As it is, like tonight I went to play Destiny with friends, saw an update installation had stopped sometime since last time I had my XB1 on and now I have to wait to move another game to my external HD and THEN download
    the Destiny update after enough room is cleared off the internal. And that will take many hours, so no gaming for me tonight.

    Hard drive won't download anything

    Yea my hard drive have been acting crazy lately, I can't add anything to my external hard drive, I cant trasnfer also. When i try downloading something from the marketplace, it just says "can't download" what ever im downloading, please i am in need of assistance.

    My external hard drive has been having issues since the new dashboard update. Now I have to turn on the Xbox two to three times to get it to recognize it. Also, yesterday, it wouldn't let me download a game to the external hard drive. I was able to download

    I moved my games from the internal hard drive to the external hard drive to see if my games won't kick me to the dashboard I tried it yesterday with a external hard drive I had never used for my Xbox. My games were never on the external hard drive they
    were in the internal hard drive. Also I downloaded trove and it kicks me to the dashboard as well.

    If u have a external hard drive connected you could of downloaded the game twice check your Xbox hard drive and external hard drive then just delete the duplicate I had the same thing happen with my and gta
