Why can't I access my games after I already paid for subscription

Correct, but that still does not give him access to any of the games that I have already purchased, or access to the game pass, or access to Xbox live. He still would have to get his own Xbox live subscription and game pass subscription and purchase any other games he wants to download, all of which I have already paid for

We need to validate your subscription. Please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services and check if you can see the subscription from there as "active".

Once confirmed make sure that you're signed in under the correct account on your Xbox. Please perform a powercycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Buying DLC for a game on Game Pass is up to you. It's a risk you take for a game on Game Pass, due to the games get removed and new ones coming on to the service. The only option you have is to purchase the game to continue using the DLC, when you have the means to do so. Xbox won't give you a refund, as you have played the DLC for longer than 2 hours or had it more than 14 days.

That's pretty stingy. It's not like after 6 hours of play people are going to be like, "alright, I got my football fix for the year". If people don't like the game they will know before the 6 hour limit is up.

I already have it pre-ordered and paid off and paid $30 for early access....Why not just let me play it for a couple days?
