Why can't anyone join my minecraft world even though they have gamepass and I have gamepass?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues with your Minecraft where your friends can join your worlds.

Please make sure that you and your friends' Minecraft versions are the same. Once confirmed that the versions are identical, log out from your account, close Minecraft then log back in. These steps usually work for most of these types of issues.



If the initial steps did not work, delete and re-add your friend from your friend's list. Let me know how it goes.

You will also need to ask your friends to configure their Xbox/Windows Online Safety settings to allow Minecraft to communicate over the Internet and make sure that the CLUBS and MULTIPLAYER settings are both set to ALLOWED.

Here's how to manager your online safety and privacy settings:

Sign in to your Microsoft account at Xbox.com.

Select your gamertag, and then select the More actions button (…).

Select Xbox settings, and then select Privacy & online safety. Because you're accessing sensitive info, you might have to enter your password or PIN.

Select either the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety tab or the Privacy tab.

Review the current settings and update any that you want to change, and then select Submit to save the changes.

Note: You must select Submit at the bottom of the page before leaving or switching to another tab. If you don't submit the changes before you move to the other tab, your changes won't be saved.

I cannot play gamepass game even though i have gamepass

I am very disappointed with the fact that I was really enjoying playing gta5 on the gamepass and literally not even a month its been removed i will leave gamepass and not recommend it to anyone because in the past I have recommended it to all my friends and alot of my friends joined because of me it is ridiculous!

Make sure that you're signed in under the correct Microsoft account where the Xbox game pass is active.

Kindly sign out on your Mineraft launcher and then quit the launcher before signing back in.

It is saying that I cannot play the game because I don't have Gamepass, even though I shouldn't need gamepass to play it since I already owned the game and have owned it for 2 years without problems. Minecraft is the only game I'm experiencing this problem with.
