    I've had Samsung TV before and my console could turn on/off the TV .. but now I bought a TCL smart TV and the console can't turn it on

    They are correct i just set it up as a vizeo tv and it took around the 8th time for the xbox to mute my tv and it worked everything is working correctly.Now when i use my voice to cut off and on the xbox it also turns the tv on and off. My model is a tcl

    How do I get my series x console to control TV?

    I have tried turning everything off and disconnected everything, turned on the tv and connected the xbox to the amp and connected the amp to the tv making sure I plugged in to a arc input and turned that on I made sure the hdmi control on my amp was turned on my xbox will turn my amp on but my amp won't control my tv my old one s console had option to separately control both tv and amp but my series x console only has one option for cec control

    I just recieved my new series x and it will not turn off my TV. I have followed procedures to have it set up, it worked with my one s just fine.

    Yes I did why would my one s work and the series x not work??? Why did it turn it off once and not again? Turns it on just fine!

    Just wanted to add to the thread that i have a TCL LE43FHDF3300TA, it's a 43 Inch LED with the same issue. It uses RCA remote code: T2429. Xbox one will not turn my tv on\off but volume and mute\unmute and menu work. Maybe a bug can be filed with that
    model also.

    My xbox turns on but the thing is it wont connect to my tv or neither my controller, and when i try turning it off by the x button it wont turn off unless i disconnect it from the back or cord.
