Why can my child see adult games under his restricted Log In?

Hi,

i have an account on my xbox one and my child has a child account(all restrictions on) on the same console. I have restricted everything in all the settings. But my child can see my own games (18+ game) and in the store he is shown adult games. OK, he can't
play them and he can't buy any adult games. But why does he have to see them? I've gone through all the settings several times to no avail.

Please help as i don't want my child to see adult game cover's or their pages. I only have Assassin's Creed origins installed as it came in a bundle. This need's to disappear from my child's account and the same goes for all adult cover's in the store. How
do i do that?

change adult account to child account

Can i change an adult account to a child account. My son has been playing the xbox one under an account that i set up. i want to set up a child account for him but he doesn,t want all his game progress to be lost. Can I set up another adult account for myself
and change his to a child account.

Child account does not appear in Xbox Family

The adult account is and the child account is XIII Whipwreck.

The child account does not appear under the Family while logged into the adult account, but I can see listed as the adult account for XIII Whipwreck while logged in as the child account.

There's some sort of bug where I cannot change the settings and it has restricted buying DLC on the child account. I have no issues on the Xbox 360 with buying off the marketplace, only

Hi, is your account under parental controls ?

If that's the case then the parental account will need to sign in and change any restrictions on your account.

If that's not the case and your account is an adult account and you also have a child account signed in that has content restrictions set then those restrictions will also affect the adult account until the child account signs out.

Would you be able to confirm for us that you are logged into an adult account? A child account may potentially have restrictions on accepting friend requests.

Unfortunately, there is no fix yet.

You could do the following:

Create a new child account for your teenager, and change the password of the adult account, so the child can't access it anymore.

Make sure the adult account has set the Xbox One console the teen is playing on as the adult account's "Home Console" (In the settings under Personalization).

That way the console will share all games that belong to the adult account to every other account playing on that "Home Console".

So your teen can still play the games of the adult account, while under the restrictions of the child account.
