Why can I play multiplayer games

1. What error message do you get when you try and play online on games?

Hi, so I don't actually pay for the gold subscription but I still can play gold games and online multiplayer. so I don't know why I can't play minecraft online multiplayer.

Multiplayer is different for me than others. Today's traditional (competitive) multiplayer hasn't always been around. And there are so many people that only do that just plain didn't respect video games before multiplayer was a thing. Personally, I have
more fun playing single-player or co-op than multiplayer, but I try and have one or two "regular" games in my now playing that are just for the multiplayer. To be honest, I have more reasons why multiplayer isn't my primary game mode and why I only play just
one or two multiplayer games regularly at a time than any reason why I'm drawn to them in general.

Then why cant i play any multiplayer games?
