    Why can i play certain games on my Xbox but not on my pc?


    I checked the Xbox play anywhere list and i have games (such as Ark) installed on my Xbox. but when i check my library or the Microsoft store, it says that I still have to pay. what is the problem?

    I can't download mw2 on my pc even though I bought it on xbox

    But if I own it can't I play it on my pc isn't it all through Microsoft I just don't understand why I can play it off my Xbox why I can't play off my pc I can play games like high on life on my Xbox and then go play on my pc and pick up where I left off

    It's a crossplay game and xbox player who buy CD can't play on PC with the same price. It's unfair... People who play on PC can play on Xbox.

    Can you fix it ?

    So i must sell my game to rebuy it ? i will loose money....

    Hi,

    There are several reasons why you cannot play together on a certain game. For you to setup multiplayer and play anywhere mode using your PC, you need to have at least an Xbox One console and a Windows 10 PC.

    I would think that they wouldn't allow PC players to play with people on Console for the different advantages/disadvantages in certain games.

    The good news is, if your friends own the game then they have play anywhere too - so you can play PC to PC or Xbox to Xbox.

    I'm certain I know what my email was, and I've logged into that account on my PC before, that's why I don't understand what happened; I remember looking at my games and friends on my PC once before, but I can't do that now, nor can I find a way to do so.
    Just in case, I tried different emails and all of them were said to not exist under Mircosoft's accounts.
