Why can I not see damage numbers while playing fortnite duos?

Is Duos the only affected gamemode ?

fortnite and warzone , even when my brother and i play duo we can only chat via party whereas he says he just plugs in and plays with his other mates

I definitely play duos with my son on fortnite. He lives a fair way away with his mother so playing xbox is the way we keep in contact with each other until the weekend when we spend time togethe .

No duo wins so far lol

They wont be able to play against each other without a second console but can do duos rogether against other people.

I went on last night on PC with a friend playing duos, been well over a year or more and never really played it, first 2 matches and we won, never in my life have i ever won in fortnite haha.
