Why can I not play multiplayer??

May I ask on which device you are encountering this issue? Is it on Xbox or PC?

Let's try to perform troubleshooting steps on your console, and you can also provide it to your friend.

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Restart your Xbox console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center. Select the Restart console and then select Restart.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

5. Test your Xbox Live connection by navigating to Settings > General > Network settings > Test network connection.

Once done, kindly check if you will encounter the same issue. If yes, please proceed in checking your NAT Type and provide me the result.

Kindly follow these steps on how you check your NAT Type:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

3. Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.

If the privacy page keeps bringing you back to the support page, it means you're on a child account. Microsoft considers all accounts below 21 years as child accounts and the privacy settings page in inaccessible for them by default.

To change your privacy settings you'll need a parent/adult account. They'll need to add you to their family group as "Member", then go into that page and enable those settings for you.
