    Why can I not play multiplayer on minecraft java edition?


    I have gone through every setting window and guide on the internet and still won't work. I went to the xbox one and windows 10 online safety setting tab on the xbox website (even tho I'm on PC, I don't understand why this setting isn't also in the microsoft account website) and set every setting to allow and submitted it and then restarted my device multiple times... and still nothing. I am beyond frustrated and I am considering slamming my head into things please help.

    Also why wouldn't you link the EXACT setting page you need to go to INSIDE of the minecraft title screen I know u could do it

    If the privacy page keeps bringing you back to the support page, it means you're on a child account. Microsoft considers all accounts below 21 years as child accounts and the privacy settings page in inaccessible for them by default.

    To change your privacy settings you'll need a parent/adult account. They'll need to add you to their family group as "Member", then go into that page and enable those settings for you.

    The details are outlined here under the "Manage settings on Xbox.com" tab and "Manage a member's online safety and privacy settings" sub-tab.

    Is it possible to play with PS4 Minecraft and Java Edition Minecraft together on the same account?

    Simply put. No. It is not currently possible to play local multiplayer Java to bedrock Minecraft. (assuming your not running the Minecraft PS4 Edition of Minecraft). Which would still be no. There are plugins for java that allow bedrock clients to connect to java servers but that feature is not on current consoles. Sorry for the inconvenience. Happy gaming!
