    Why can I not load into my Elden Ring character?


    I have around 33 hours dedicated to my saved character and now when I try to load into it, I am stuck in the loading screen. I am able to switch between hints by tapping A, but nothing else. Ive trued resetting the game, resetting my xbox, but nothing works. Is there anyway that I could get this fixed. I really dont want to restart my playthrough. Especially now that I just bought the dlc to play.

    Which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this problem? In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    In the meantime tell me, do you have the game installed on the internal drive or do you have it on a external hard drive?

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/turn-console-on-off
    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Power mode & startup.

    Under Options, select Full shutdown or Restart now.

    After the full shutdown, I recommend waiting 30-60 seconds then power it back on. Once it's on, wait for everything to load and then open the game.

    If that doesn't work, then try uninstalling and installing the game, you might lose progress but it could work.

    You can try to retrieve it from the Cloud.

    As long as you didn't delete it everywhere, it should be possible to recover it.
