Why can I not join or start a party chat as well as when I play mw2 it keeps signing me out...

why is it that I still can not switch to party chat I join a party (when the xbox lets me after 20min off trying to join the party) and when I do get in it will not let me switch to party chat starting to feel like iv been ripped off with the xbox one seaming
the 360 is better in every way

You may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Like Dejected said about the Battlelog way to play. I think the party chat works well once I figured out how to use it. Its not like the 360 where you join and chat right away. You have to join and then open the chat menu and select join the chat or some
such thing. I got into a party and wondered why everyone was so quiet.

It's amazing how many "Veteran Gamers" weren't smart enough to figure out Party Chat.

Start or Join a party.

Then (the crucial step in the process that most people overlook is) TURN PARTY CHAT ON.

Now people in your party can hear you.

I know what you're thinking. "Why do I have to turn Party Chat on? That's stupid! Why couldn't it just work exactly the same as the XBox 360"?

Well... do you remember when everyone was crying for Microsoft to support Hardcore Gamers?

Well Hardcore Gamers play the game to win.

So your party joins a Team Based game where it's probably going to be in your best interest to communicate with the other players?

You simply Snap to Party Chat and turn Party Chat off. Now you are in GAME CHAT and are able to chat with everyone in the game... but you're still in your own party.

And if you don't wanna talk to your Team in the game? Then stay in Party Chat.

Party chat is actually better designed than most people think and it's frightening how many people couldn't figure out that they had to turn it on.

Finally, for Skype... put in your friend's gamertag and you're there.

If they don't have a ONE then put in their email address.
