    Why can i not add people on xbox?


    hello i recently made another xbox account since i wanted a new start, however when i go to add my friend, it does not let me, (i tried this by adding my own account too) it will say “add friend”, i’ll click it, and then it will say “friend added”. when that screen closes, it says “add friend” again. it does not let me add them or anyone.

    Are you trying to add a friend from your Xbox console or through Xbox App/Xbox website?

    Also, please make sure that the account and privacy settings are set up correctly by signing in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.
