Why can I login to my child's account

This company's customer service has declined in recent years. I had the same issue, and forgot my child's password, when their console prompted them to enter their password recently.

I had went through the process of filling out the verification form almost 10 times with no success, and unfortunately an telephone associate informed me that when you create an account on the child's Xbox it automatically establishes their outlook email as their recovery email, and there was no way to access the account. Make sure you remember the password because Xbox support reps will be unable to help you if you do not immediately establish 2 factor authentication.

Needless to say my child was crushed that all their hard work had to be restarted and any previous purchases made related to the account were gone forever.

Same thing with me but I did it with the nuketown map for Black Ops 3. Why do I have to login in so the child account can play the map?

I can confirm that this is happening to me. Now my Childs accounts are moved from Family Centre to individual accounts I have been asked to set up Secondary security. In doing so I have to verify details on the email address which in turn requires me to
login as my child on the XboxLiveFamilly.com address and from there I am asked to login as an adult and after that it wants me to be in the States so I cant complete the process and the Child is locked out of their account , we just cant login.

Has anyone been able to fix this my child login on my account and now I cant login into my account....any one know how to unlink her account from mine....thx
