why can i install the games but not play them all thats working is launchers for games like...

Yes!, this worked for me, just like you said,

uninstall from inside "launcher"

download games from MS store

install games from innside "launcher"

Hello, i was also having this issue and none of the fixes I've done have worked. The xbox launcher was working but then i set up a 2tb external drive and i had

to give myself admin permission to change where all new apps are installed and after i finally got all that to work the xbox launcher wouldn't open. Everything

else works just fine its only the xbox launcher and the microsoft store + all microsoft games thats doing this.

I already use that launcher, however i did install it from the link you sent and it says "Incompatible with launcher" i've also tried the windows launcher (from microsoft store) and thats where i see the "play trial" button. I am also using my microsoft account as i just bought the game a few days ago.

Update: I kept deleting and reinstalling launchers and now i can install the game, thank you for your help but i figured it out.

You can indeed play all 3 Definitive Edition games on the PC if the trilogy is not avaliable on the Microsoft store then you will have to install the rockstar games launcher on your PC. In order to do that go to the Rockstar Social Club website and click on the tab to install the launcher.

Once you install the launcher you can buy the Trilogy of there and play on your PC.
