Why aren't my recovery codes working?

Sorry to hear about the issue. May I exactly know what happened to your account? Did you just forget its password or has it been locked out?

you will need to contact support directly, you cannot use the online default recovery form as you have 2fa enabled, normally support cannot help either, but they may point you in the right direction, this is the problem with 2fa, if its enabled normal recovery tools don't work and support usually cannot help.

this is why you always have a recovery email attached and your recovery code saved somewhere secure.

I tried doing the account recovery form but it says there’s supposedly not enough info to verify that I’m the owner. I don’t see why I can’t just get a code read to me by a tts bot over my landline phone that’s on my account.

The OP is locked out of their Microsoft account...they bought UGP and then wanted to cancel it the next day but couldn't access their MS account.

Their problem is that the account became locked (for an unknown reason) and they aren't receiving the code via text message for the account recovery process

That's the way it reads to me anyway.
