    Why aren’t my family settings working??


    Have set up a new Xbox with game pass for our son. Have created him a profile and set the birthdate etc, but he can still see and install unrestricted content when we scroll down to ‘full library’ - nightmare!

    Any tips??

    unfortunately the only ways to control usage are defined in the links, I advise you to consult support in case you are unable to configure it on your own.

    there is something that went unnoticed, I've seen customers complaining precisely that they configured the library and had few games, and wanted microsoft to replace the missing games with new games of a lower age group.

    Thank you, yes I have spent a whole evening configuring my profile, setting up the family group, then his settings within it, and on the family app too. It’s not working though. The settings aren’t being picked up in the console.

    Under “full library” he can still see 18+ content and has the option to install it.
