Why aren't my digital games saved to my xbox?

your games are tied to the account, you don't own any game on any service, you purchase a licence to play that game, if you delete the account then there is no way to authorise the use of the game as the licence is missing.

Yes - downloaded games aren't working on my XBOX (I'm getting the same error as the OP with all my digital purchases) and the storefront is broken.

Is it showing that you're logged in to Xbox at the top? If it isn't, that's why your games aren't saving. You need to log in to Xbox with your Microsoft account so your games can save in the cloud automatically.

I did that the first time it loaded up with my games. Tired playing them didn't work. So I wiped everything knowing all my games are digital. I see the games but they aren't downloading to the xbox. The original apps aren't even working.
