    Why are you killing the Xbox Console Companion app on PC before you have a decent replacement?


    I got an update to the Console Companion app yesterday and all it did is kill the messaging feature of the app, on purpose, to try and get me to use the new Xbox app, which is somehow, even worse than any of the apps that have come before it.

    Why push me on to an app that is barely beta quality and that has fewer features than the app it's supposed to be replacing?

    Here's an idea - why not make a really great app in-house at MS, and wait until it's polished and feature rich BEFORE you roll it out to us?

    Which beta app are you having issue downloading? The Xbox Console Companion App (Beta) or the Xbox Game Pass for PC app (Beta)? You'll need to have he beta companion app downloaded first before you can download the PC game pass app (beta) and you will also
    need to have Windows update version 1903.

    Restart your PC and then make sure you have the requirements to download the PC game pass app.

    Sorry to hear it. After you've switched your primary address it can take a few days to fully populate your account which may be why you're having trouble.

    Once you've done it please try deleting the Beta app then log out of the Xbox Console Companion app on your PC. Restart the PC and log in to your Xbox Companion App before redownloading the Beta app. Let me know if that works

    Why are you connecting the Xbox to the PC?

    You can use the console companion APP to connect the console to the PC. The console can be natively connected to your home network either via wireless or a wired connection.

    well what if in the heat of battle, in a dark cave, you needlessly swing a couple more times before noticing your enemies have been killed? Those swings then could potentially kill your companion, no? I don't know...I'll try it in combat later. Luckily
    I outfitted my companion with some decent armor.
