    Why are Xbox players unable to disable cross play when playing Warzone?


    We all know there is a large amount of hacks and cheats that PC players can use when playing Warzone. Just google it or search on Youtube. As an xbox player im tired of being forced to play against these cheater all the time. Sony Playstation cares about their players enjoyment experience enough to have the option to disable cross play when playing warzone. Butt, microsoft doesn’t care about their players enough to allow them to choose how they want to play. Come on microsoft, all we are asking for is the choice to disable it in game!

    When will disabling cross play for Call of Duty Warzone be allowed for Xbox?

    The option "Block play with people outside of Xbox live" doesn't let Xbox Users play Warzone. When the option "Block play with people outside of Xbox live" is enabled you can't find any matches on Warzone. Gamers on COD's Activision forums are saying,
    "Sony fought for Playstation Gamers ability to disable cross play on Warzone." However, Microsoft did nothing during their contractual agreement with Activision allowing Xbox users to disable cross play because Microsoft want us to play with PC. I've read
    Xbox Gamers comments on Activision's forum, and YouTube videos stating, "They are going to buy the PS5 rather then the new Xbox because they will be allowed to disable cross play for Warzone."

    ****, i dont want cross play. I have turned it off/disabled it and the game is forcing me to turn it on or it wont let me play. Why?????
    This is not something that can be changed unless Activision allows it unfortunately.

    You have to play Warzone with cross play but if you have multiplayer, you can play that without cross play.

    Forced cross play should never be a thing and is a disgraceful act by Microsoft. It should always be the peoples choice to enable it or not. This is why I will be switching to PlayStation.

    I watched an interview with Phill Spencer a while ago saying “We will never force players into playing cross play, that decision will be up to the player.” Yeah ok…

    You can meanwhile disable cross play through Xbox settings but if you are partied up with just one friend, it will kick you from matchmaking, there for forcing you to ‘allow’ cross play.
