    I have the original xbox since it like first came out and let me tell you it's still going strong but I've went through the elite series 1 and other like 15 other controller's when on the 360 i had like 1 controller go bad and still have 4 controllers
    plus spares its just ridiculous how the performance and quality has gone down this is my experience and the sticks wear out too easily and loose there grip and become uncontrollable and it's ridiculous as an xbox fanatic this is some of the most disappointing
    experiences ive ever had with xbox

    So far i have not experienced any issues with any of my controllers.

    Other than batteries dying on me mid game.

    Yes the controllers do where out ive gone through 5 since the xbox one came out but i class this as fair wear and tear as i play like 12 plus hours a day as im dsabled some times you can salvage them for parts if you get the screwdriver kit of amazon

    I know that the charging port on the xbox one controllers dont like to be used as wired controllers that's for sure

    I have never had an Elite controller so I can't and wont comment on the durability of those. However, I have an OG Xbox One. And the controller I got with that started showing signs of drift after about 3 years. Keep in mind though I am an avid xbox gamer,
    but was (am) working on my own game and had given that a thrashing when I was programming the controller controls in Unity as well. So its had a good run.
