Why are we being charged early for Xbox live.

I wish to no why we are getting charged a week early for xbox live subscription. And your calling it a xbox live sub update. I got charged by xbox live ( for next month?) and they cancelled my subscription even tho im still within my month i have already
payed for. Rip. Are they really trying to charge people in advance. I do not like this. Im on console and have gotten zero messages about a new update to subscriber payment systems.
